Anyone familiar with Wikipedia will get the idea behind the Single Blade Wiki: it's a community-edited online Canoeists' Encyclopedia...

A wiki (i/ˈwɪki/ wik-ee) is a website that allows the creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser

The Single Blade Wiki runs alongside a growing Who's Who of Single Blade Canoeing.

The other side of Single Blade is the forum...

fo·rum/ˈfôrəm/: A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

This Canoeists' Forum is an inter-disciplinary online community for promoting the skills and expertise involved in using a single blade... and that's in any manner from "drilling holes in the water" to wrenching one's guts out down a sprint course!

Our premise is that technically accomplished single blade use is a minority interest in virtually all branches of paddlesport... with isolated specialists in every discipline generally working in isolation... and exchange of ideas, coaching concepts and so on limited to personal networks and word of mouth!

Our forum discussions aim to bring together interested canoeists (students through to coaches) and are arranged as follows:

Please take a look around!

Note: A Single Blade Forum and Wiki is currently administered by SingleBlade.co.uk. This arrangement is seen as temporary: longer term, we envisage management by a Charitable Trust.
